Ya Doma Nature and Forest Therapy
Reconnecting with your True Nature
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes suitable for the weather. Layers are nice as your body temperature may decrease as the walk progresses. We walk very slowly. Trails may be muddy during your walk so please make sure you are prepared to get a bit dirty.
What do I bring?
Minimal is best. Bring food if it is essential (glucose levels etc.) Water is a must (BYOW). Use a backpack so you are hands free. Weather depending, an extra sweater. If you can go without for 3 hours- great! If you need to bring things- great! Keep in mind you want to be in the moment and to listen to your body.
Can I bring my dog?
Of course! Register for a Private Walk.
Just a word of caution though. The liminal state may not be reached, which is the main purpose of a Ya Doma forest therapy walk. Your dog must be on leash. Make sure your dog is able to listen to commands. More info available upon request.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! Register for Forest Fun or a Private Walk.
All public walks are for mature people who are able to be independent for the duration of the walk. Forest Fun is suitable for kids of all ages and very open and free. Ya Doma will tailor your walk to your specified needs if you choose to register for a private walk with your family.
I want to try this but I have anxiety

All invitations and sharing are voluntary. They are invitations. Do what feels right for you. There will be no judgements made. All is welcome. There are numerous studies showing how forest bathing assists in anxiety, PTSD, depression and other psychological disorders.
Waiver Form
